Screen Capture Format - for Mac

We are thinking about releasing a small utility application which we use in house here at SPACE. Our Screen Capture Format utility allows you to easily change the default file format for screen captures on your Mac to any one of these nine options: Png [default], Psd, Jpg, Pdf, Tif, Gif, Bmp, TGA and Jp2. It also allows you to change the default location in which the screen captures are saved on your machine so that your desktop does not end up covered in files. Is this something that you’d be interested in? If so, post a comment!

Hello dear readers!

It's been a while! I've been very lax at doing this blog, I hope to change that.

Anyway, I thought I'd write something today about what I'm doing at the moment.

I've been putting together a CMS based site using Joomla! It's coming along quite well and I'll put up a link to it on this site when it's finished. If you're wanting to get into CMS too, I can recommend Joomla! but I would also suggest that you get a reference book for it, as the terminology is not something you're likely to be familiar with.

CMS for the web is something that I've been wanting to get into for some time now and this project was a good way to get started.

I've also recently been using Flash and MDM Zinc to build a presentation CD ROM for BP Castrol's Ford Rally Team. Flash is great as a presentation tool but it can't access the file system on your computer to do stuff like copy files onto your HD. MDM Zinc allows you to fix this and build a desktop application using Flash as the front end - pretty cool.

On the print side, I've just done a big POS campaign for Mothers Day and Easter for a High Street Brand. I've converted some Swimming Pool Safety Data Sheets from PDF to MS Word format! and I've done a brochure, posters, folder and banner roll-up for a russian travel company.

So all in all I've been pretty busy!

As usual if you need a hand to complete a project please get in touch.

Well I haven't been updating this as much as I'd like! But I have been very busy, so at least I have an excuse! I don't have any free time now until Jan 2 next year! Which is both good and bad. Good coz I need the money and bad coz I won't get much time off over the holidays. Hope Santa brings you tons of stuff! Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!
