This is kinda interesting (I hope). I did go to see James Camerons Avatar 3D over the holidays. And I have to say it was "fantastic" in the real sense of the word. The script will never win any awards, but the sheer spectacle of the 3D world and the people and animals that live there was just amazing. I think the people that thought this film would struggle to cover its budget couldn't have seen the potential from the rushes. It looks like it "might" even beat Camerons other chart topper Titanic to become the highest grossing film of all time! I'm going to go and see it again and I haven't done that since Star Wars in the seventies. If you have not been to see it yet, you should and make sure you see it in 3D too, it really is a landmark piece of work.
